The Opera LD TMS software package is primarily for companies that have to organize transport, deliver goods, or visit facilities in the field. 

Based on the data about customers to which goods are to be delivered, the quantity and type of goods to be transported, as well as the data on the available vehicle fleet, Opera LD TMS calculates the optimum number of the necessary vehicles, distribution of goods by vehicles, and routes of individual vehicles. This way, companies can cut costs significantly.

How does the solution work?

The system calculates and optimizes the daily order in which goods are loaded onto vehicles, the order of customer visits for each of the vehicles, and estimates the time and distance each vehicle requires. All of these elements make the plan for the delivery of goods, the fulfillment of which is monitored in real-time in the dispatching module, with predictions of arrival at the place of unloading in accordance with current conditions.


The optimal solution is found based on the input data. The distribution of goods by vehicles, routes, order of visits to clients, estimated times of unloading, as well as estimated times and distances of transit are calculated. The calculation is made on the basis of data obtained from the previous history of fleet movements in order to create a plan with minimal costs or transport distance.

A common scenario for using the Opera TMS system is as follows:


  • Confirmed purchase orders arrive at the ERP or WMS system.
  • Confirmed and approved purchase orders are imported into the TMS system. 
  • The TMS system maintains a list of available fleet vehicles with all associated attributes. 
  • There is (or it’s formed) a list of clients with positions, the time window for delivery of goods, and other attributes.
  • The TMS system generates bills of lading based on the required data. Each delivery note (consignment note) can be displayed on a map in a form suitable for printing.
